What is Sleep Training?"Training" is a full on word, especially when we're talking about babies and toddlers. I prefer the phrase "sleep support" whereby together we work out a good routine for your family and use different methods to support your baby to sleep
-
What age do you work with?I work with children from 5 months to 4 years old. I tailor my plans around your child's age and work towards realistic goals according to their developmental age.
-
Do you work with Twins or Multiples?Absolutely! I am a mum of twin girls so I know the challenges. I will ensure that each of your children are treated as individuals and make a plan that suits you all.
-
Will there be crying?Whenever there is a change in routine or the way your child falls asleep there will always be some kind of protest in the form of tears. Even the most gentle methods involve some crying. However, this will be short lived and I will be there to support you through it. Children are remarkably resilient and can adapt to change.
-
What sleep training methods do you use?Rest assured, there is no 'cry it out' in my approach, I use gentle methods that are structured and empower you as the parent to make the steps towards better sleep.
-
Will my child sleep through the night within the two weeks?Every child is different, and it is impossible to guarantee, however I firmly believe that if you commit to my support plan you will see vastly improved sleep for your child and your family.
-
Do you offer any extra support after the support period is finished?Yes, if you need any support later down the line, there are additional support bundles you can add on. However, most children do really well during the two week support period.
